Probably a little late right now but the best way to get commercials made ‘Fast‘ or should I say make commercials fast these are a few tips
1 Make a template for your session. This can be copies to your new make folder and will have your starting point session basics. Copy and away you go
2 Make sure you have the eq’s of the voices you use regularly. The extra voices you use will “sound” similar to those you use so try one of those as baseline to start from.
3 In you template you’ll have the compressors you like the best, in the order you like for the generic ads, the voice over music. If the ad you have to build os more complex you have the option to add more tracks and adjust the compression and fx in the mix
Quick ways to “glue together” commercial production really efficiently.
I use it all the time because over time I found that I need the same session time and time again
I also have the producers working with me with the same settings on the master out for mixing. This way, the last thing that happens is always the same, how the producer mixed before the point is all them.
